WHEN LOVE WAS WRAP IN A piece of paper
Much obliged that i was born in the 90's: and I got to have memories which my younger siblings these days does not. One of it would be the love letter that comes with love.
I remember those box full of letters from somewhere , twas like an invitation seeing those letters , you can't help yourself reading it. Those were the good old days when post man itself was loved. I do not experience it though.
Another 5 more year and the fantasy of telling younger siblings would be a lot enthralling.
(Splitting the bean) The first letter i got was sometime in the 08-09 . I was in 8th standard and the last time was.... ( oh i don't remember somewhere in the 10-11 (sender enclosed) not only in contain love it sometimes is written out of anger, tears :) . life then was much simpler and i am pretty sure I/ we may be the last generations receiving or sending (as for us, girls we hardly sent all we did was reply to it )
And I remember sir OK ( night-hunter: as we call ) saw a friend passing on chits at the facade of the administrative toilet building. I cannot remember my hapless friend. Well, sorry for reveling all those moment back if you are the one reading this.
And the letter after all hurdles it passes by to reach you, you are not reading it all alone .
The whole member in your friend circle are ready to read it. No privacy allow. Unlike today's security pattern, code.
His writing skills and handwriting are also sometimes commented.
At the dawn of mobile phones was another life hack making life easier.
I was in residential school : residential, no mobiles were allowed. However some disobedient student (me include) keeping mobile .
Another most amusing moment as of now but, never in those days, was the security checks.
Ceilings and bushes comes to the rescue. Like the 21st December 2012 mystery , it never arrive. within my 7 years of stay there was not a single surprised check.
Those were the moments you just can't missed out. And if you have not come across this moment your childhood was boring.
Today love travel online via fb, whats-app, we chat, line, and more.
But those were the time LOVE was Wrap in a piece of paper.
#awesome childhood we had.
