Story:

 In the wake of the “Henu neingailou hitam” which generate a vital remark in the history of cinema not only amongst the Thadou-Kuki community in and around the state but also with the non-thadou speaking community, The Niso film institute rouse again in the arena of films to cheer us up with the part 2 of “henu neingailou hitam?”.

The movie as we bring to mind: was one of the most successful films which upswing from the town. I was in Class 1 during the reign of “Henu neingailou hitam”. I remember being left out when my sisters went for the movie. I can also vividly put up the memories of the team while shooting for a dance scene near the ST.Mary’s Gammang(forest, as we use to refer) . Number of girls were made to dance and we were fully excited to witness the shooting of the films. 

Reviews:

The news that “Henu neingailou hitam” team are coming up with part 2 of the movie take away the waits for it. As the artiste in the movie are selected through audition, there is a sizable hope that it will be a must watch.

The film finally came up in the last part of October and the wait was over. It was screen in many of the Community multipurpose hall after the release. The lucky city to get the aroma of the movie are Pune and Delhi. As of now, the disc is not yet being circulated. It will hopefully be seen after a month or two.

“vel jakhatvei  kive jong le kichim ponte” uttered a woman as we moved out of the hall after watching the movie.

A guy friend of mine who went for the releasing program also comment “Ticket chu jani beh man jong le khoh kasa hih e” , the other friend added “Ave a nache di phat le na mitlhi theh na di puon khat kichoi o”

The film kick off with Inspector Boilien (Thangkhanlal) and Neinu (Lhingkhonei) in their house busy with their own chores. It’s been 15 years, celebrating the crystal anniversary and the time gap they gave between the movies is just perfect.

Boilien happened to meet Hoinu (Hoinu Touthang) a journalist, after a press meeting which happen after an attack. They later fall in love.

Boikim(Vahneikim Baite), who stay outside the state pursuing master in chemistry fall in love with a senior who happen to save her from Kol locality trying to abducted and molest her.

The duos come home and meet each other’s family. They once went for outing to leimata. On the way Boikim saw a police inspector with the name tag Boilien on his chest. She doubted that it was his brother. She, in full swing find a way to contact him until Boikim (Boilien’s girlfriend) came to know of it and suspect his boyfriend of further affair. This misunderstanding doesn’t last long as Hoinu came to know the truth.

On the other hand, Boilien’s mother Neinu; a praying mother happen to notice a young girl who used to pray with her in the church. Her generosity and kindness towards children and her timely devotion, like all mother wants her to be her daughter in law. She told Boilien that he should be with someone like her who is none other than Hoinu (Boilien’s Girlfriend).

Boilien, on his dark side wants to take revenge on Ngaltun and Paocha. The former for killing his father and the later for heartlessly taking away their property. Neinu doesn’t allow him to do so. The conversation they had in the trailer shows it all. (For those who haven’t watch the full movie).

Once Boilien silently peep inside Ngaltun’s house. With all surprise, Hoinu was there. His girlfriend happen to be the daughter of his enemy. Ngaltun narrate the story of how the government have fail him and his plan and how he become a thingnuoimi.

The films has a lot of scene fill with different types of emotions.

One of the sad scene was when Boilien brought a gift for his mother. She ran towards the bedroom and cried out with mixed feeling of both sadness and happiness singing the song “Hinven heuthangboi, ka thoh joupoi, phatthei ka chan jong kaka  pi ji’n.”

It is in the last part of the movie that the family reunited. Boikim’s grandfather handover the girl to her mother, though Neinu refused to accept Boikim as her daughter bringing back the vow she made with him. After Boikim’s Pupu expressed a word of love and how a mother’s love for the child is, Neinu can’t hold on. She hold Boikim in her arms and the family sobbed out of joy.

The team never surprised us with their amusing flow of their stories. The flow and track of the film can be related with our today society. However, the selling of the daughters we all know is relatively or not in practised.

 “Kahinsol tai nakoma”, “Gari Olcha I tol le scenery kimu, I ha tolle cemetery”, and the famous “A khonung kithai mang di” are the notable dialogues.

The songs in the movie are all pleasant, they tune us to the mood of shaking our head to the rhythm of it.

The camera setting and editing are more or less blameless. Yet, the location and spot use in the movie lack a pin-size reality where Boikim’s terrace and background can be easily identified that it is being alter (Photoshop). Especially the scene on the plane, they could’ve just walk out of the airport (suggestion).

The custom designing team require a bit of creativity so that it goes well with this day’s trend. Which will definitely shook up the show with their sense of fashion.

Last but not the least, the freshly introduce Thangkhanlal stole a heart. He just put up his role as a responsible inspector in the best way he can. His body fitness is what added to his charm. And the role he played as a truthful lover and a sincere son is splendid. The hero in him, makes us disremembered the Bollywood Dabang and makes us focus on our own Dabang.

Hoinu and her role as a journalist is well put up. The way she bravely fought for truth is a lesson.

All the role engaged in the movie played a stunning role in their own team which makes the movie much more than expected. But it will be incomplete not to mention the name of Lhingkhonei and Khailet who makes the film one of the most wanted and watch movie since the part 1 of Henu nei ngailou hitam.

Producing, directing and bringing out a successful movie is not a cup of tea.

The Niso film are highly appreciated for their work and achievement till date in the field of films and more. Wishing the team that they bring out more films and a lot of success in their endeavour to produce more films.
