PLACES YOU MUST VISIT WHILE IN CHURACHANDPUR
Born and brought up in churachandpur, I have been to most village and colonies( veng , as we call it ) in and around the town . i love this place and i assure you.. you gonna feel the same.

Here are few things which you must do pay a visit once or more which will obviously make you wants to visit my place again. and i would say " WELCOME TO MY TOWN ".

1. KHUGA DAM:
This beautiful scenic view of KHUGA DAM will makes definitely say WOW ( the big one) . What a place, i cannot really take myself on the latest visit last month . The road which lead to the dam which you have to go paddle( by foot) will give you the feeling and feel like another big WOW.

The more beautiful place is ats its green days , so make it on monsoon says you can see the water overflowing down as in the pics below.

2. NGALOI FALL :

This small water fall featuring in most of the eimi visual albums is quite an attractive one.
The view from the top of the fall is such an awesome view.
Believe it or not here you can find large footprint on the rocks which is said to be the legend Galngam's feet while feeding his dog. ( Believe at your own risk, but must see that one too. )

3. THE SUONGPI MAICHAM

Also appears in many gospel visuals albums. you can see the beautiful view of Churachandpur town from the cross. Adding to it , there is a statue of Tintong ( the commander-in-chief of the Kuki army)  at the gateway of the maicham place.

4. FAT JAMES RESTAURANT:

The pull of the town, more of luxury(at-least for ccpurians). it is of-course the best for the town.it is on the first floor of the Bata building.

5. COZY WORLD

On the first floor of synod super-market . a small n cozy places for you and your family ( to-be family also counts)  to get freshen up. you can good collections of clothes exported from Dimapur, Delhi, Hongkong, Thailand. and more... handicrafts is also available. the classic design of the wall decorated with old cassetes will make you feel smokie or carpenters at times.. enjoy the Hongkong noodles .

The movie as we bring to mind: was one of the most successful films which upswing from the town. I was in Class 1 during the reign of “ Henu neingailou hitam ”. I remember being left out when my sisters went for the movie. I can also vividly put up the memories of the team while shooting for a dance scene near the ST.Mary’s Gammang(forest, as we use to refer) . Amazing things that happen during Christmas & you only  realized when you don't spent it at home.
